Meet The Team
Our staff loves spending time with children—laughing, learning, and growing together each day! We know the best way to help little ones thrive is by teaming up with their parents, so we work hand-in-hand with families to support every child. In our classrooms, children explore academics and social skills while also hearing the wonderful truth of God’s Word. Most importantly, we want each child to know that they are loved, treasured, and forever a part of God’s family!
Director and 2s/3s Teacher
Kirstyn Hutchinson
Kirstyn has been at RUMNS for 10 years, first as a teacher and then, also, Director. She earned her 90-hour certification from Howard Community College and her Associate’s degree from CCBC, and also holds a Director’s Certification in Child Care Administration. Before coming to RUMNS, she served as Director of the School Age program at Christ the King.
She is a credentialed child care teacher and has also been a program director for over 12 years. When she’s not at school, you can usually find her spending time with her family and traveling.
4s Teacher
Nicole Brennan
Nicole is a native of Texas and has been teaching at RUMNS since 2017. She is a Maryland Childcare Credentialed teacher and a graduate of Towson University with over 10 years of early childhood experience, including her 90-hour certification in Early Childhood Education.

Nicole loves working with young children and being part of their first school experiences. She especially enjoys helping them grow in confidence and curiosity as they learn. When she isn’t at school, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children—one of whom is a proud RUMNS alum!
4s Assistant Teacher
Jennifer Mangum
Mrs. Mangum has been part of the RUMNS family for 5 years, teaching in the twos class alongside Mrs. Brennan, and is now excited to move up as the assistant teacher in the fours class. She is a graduate of Villa Julie College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.

With over 10 years of teaching experience in Preschool and Pre-K programs, Jenn brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine love for working with young children. Outside of school, she enjoys life with her husband and their three children.
2s/3s Aide
Samantha Davis
Mrs. Davis is in her third year in the RUMNS family and brings a wonderful energy and love for working with children. Her passion for early childhood began as a teenager while volunteering in her church’s Awana program. Since then, she has worked in a variety of childcare roles and completed training at CCBC.

Sam enjoys building connections with children and helping them grow in both confidence and creativity. When she isn’t at school, she loves spending time with her husband and their three children, as well as shopping, reading, and enjoying all things Marvel.
2s/3s Aide
Hannah Martin
Ms. Martin is the newest addition to the RUMNS family and is excited to begin her first year with us! She was part of our summer program and is now serving as an aide in the twos and threes classes. ​
Hannah loves working with young children and has worked with children in different settings.
She especially enjoys sharing her love of children’s books and arts and crafts, and most importantly, the Gospel. She is looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and fun at RUMNS.
Afternoon Aide
Liliya Loginova
Mrs. Loginova has been part of the RUMNS family for 7 years and truly loves working with children. She has her 90-hour certification and supports our program in the afternoons and during the summer months.

Liliya is our resident plant enthusiast and enjoys sharing her love of nature with the children, teaching them about plants, flowers, and her culture. Her creativity and passion bring a special touch to the classroom.
