SUMMER 2026

We are seeking a part time aide for our summer program. Must be able to be active and

ready to run with our preschoolers! Hours are 7:30am-12:30pm Monday- Friday from 

June 22-August 14. Interviews will be held on a first come, first serve basis. If you are looking for 

experience in Early Childhood, this is great for you. Must be able to pass a background check. Basic Health and Safety 3hr class is a bonus, but not a must. Must be 18. Send resume to rumnsdirector@hotmail.com

FALL 2026

Now interviewing for a part time teacher for our 2-year-old class. This class is full of energy and very busy! Hours are 8:30-12:30 Monday-Friday, from the end of August until Mid-June.

Applicants are also welcome to apply for Summer Aide position.

We operate on a similar calendar to BCPS, with holidays off.

Requirements

  • Must be 18

  • 90-hr Preschool Certificate (or close to completing)

  • 9-hr Communication Course

  • Knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods

  • Creative

  • Patience, flexibility and love for children

  • Positive attitude

  • Strong communication and time management skills

 

Duties include 

  • Lesson planning

  • Classroom management and safety

  • Communication and collaboration- with parents and other staff

  • Documentation and assessment

  • Basic Care
